GLOBALG.A.P.

The Global Good Aquaculture Practice (GLOBALG.A.P.) standard is a well-known international standard for farm production. The standard indicates a responsible, safe production and covers food safety, traceability, environment, HSC and animal welfare. The GLOBALG.A.P. standard takes care of every step in the production of farmed fish. The main focus is for the consumer to get safe and traceable seafood throughout the whole production.

MSC – Marine Stewardship Council

The MSC recognises well-managed and sustainable fisheries through a certification programme. The MSC lays down principles and criteria for sustainable fisheries, which are used in a third party and voluntary certification programme. By choosing MSC-certified fish it is guaranteed that the seafood comes from a fishery that ensures that there is enough fish left in the sea, and that the fishery takes care of both the ocean and local areas.

BRC Global Standard for Food Safety

The BRC-standard is a standard aimed for food manufactures to satify the requirement of the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).

When the food manufacture is BRC-certified it meets the requirements within use of management systems it complies with the regulatory requirements and ensures that quality and safe food production is in focus. The BRC-standard is also one of the first standards that includes Food Fraud and mapping of food safety culture.
